AMU1 Acceleration Monitoring Unit
AMU1 Acceleration Monitoring Unit by SPEEL PRAHA Ltd. company is designed to monitor vertical acceleration in the aircraft gravity centre. The device records the following parameters:
- acceleration value
- number of flight hours
- number of landings
- table of history of exceeding the set value of vertical acceleration (maximal and minimal limit of a local extreme value)
- matrix of transition frequency between classes of local extreme values of vertical acceleration
- hysteresis
- maximal acceleration limit
- minimal acceleration limit
- aircraft type
- aircraft product number
- aircraft registration
It is possible to copy AMU1 memory over a standard RS-232C serial bus into a personal computer and then evaluate it using special software. The evaluation results will help the user to get more information about the spent aircraft service lifetime. The recorded information is protected against misuse by a password.
