CARE

CARE is Speel's latest generation crash-protected solid-state memory flight recorder, which complies with ED-56A crash survivability requirements.

CARE unit communicates with other systems on board the aircraft (e.g. acquisition unit) via an Ethernet(10/100 Base-T) link or RS-422.

Its small size and weight make CARE an attractive solution for platforms where space and weight reduction is a must (military aircraft, UAV applications, etc.).

Flight data stored in the CARE can be downloaded, played back and analyzed using SPEEL's Ground Support Equipment, which consists of:

  • Notebook with PANDA software
