CVFDR

The CVFDR is a crash-survivable solid-state memory combined cockpit voice and flight data recorder that can be easily configured for use as a voice recorder only, data recorder only, or both. It has been designed to meet the harshest environments as dictated by FAA's TSO-C124a/TSO-C123a, and it suits both military and civil aircraft.

The CVFDR provides a capability for voice channels replay and monitoring without having to download the recorder's memory content.

Flight data and voice data stored in the CVFDR can be downloaded, played back and analyzed using SPEEL's Ground Support Equipment, which consists of:

  • PMU-F (Portable Memory Unit)
  • Notebook with PANDA software
