Speel's FDR39TM-E is a solid-state memory crash-survivable flight data recorder, which is intended as a direct replacement of mechanical recorders SARPP-12G equipping L-39 aircraft.

The replacement of the original recorder is very simple, because the aircraft wiring including interconnection cables remain, only the mechanical fixing of units is changed.

FDR39TM-GE is an improved version of FDR39TM-E that includes, in addition, GPS data recording from a standard aircraft GPS unit.

Flight data stored in the FDR39TM-E/TMG can be downloaded, played back and analyzed using SPEEL's Ground Support Equipment, which consists of:

  • PMU-F (Portable Memory Unit)
  • Notebook with PANDA software
