FDR59A

FDR59A is a solid-state memory crash-survivable flight data recorder, which is intended as a direct replacement for the mechanical tape recorder from the PARES59E system equipping L59E aircraft.

The replacement of the original recorder is very simple, because the aircraft wiring including interconnection cables remain, only the mechanical fixing of units is changed.

Flight data stored in the FDR59A can be transferred, played back and analyzed using SPEEL's Ground Support Equipment, which consists of:

  • PMU-F (Portable Memory Unit)
  • Notebook with PANDA software
