Speel's FDR59B-L/H is a solid-state memory crash-survivable flight data recorder, which is intended as a direct replacement of the mechanical crash tape recorder ZBN-1 from the BUR-1 system equipping SOKOL helicopters (FDR59B-H) and L410-UVPE aircraft (FDR59B-L).

The replacement of the original recorder is very simple, because the aircraft wiring including interconnection cables remain, only the mechanical fixing of units is changed.

Flight data stored in the FDR59B-L/B-H can be downloaded, played back and analyzed using SPEEL's Ground Support Equipment, which consists of:

  • PMU-F (Portable Memory Unit)
  • Notebook with PANDA software
